Nick Campbell

Registered Psychologist

Hi, I’m Nick.
I have worked with clients across the lifespan and am now focused on working with adults (aged 18+).

I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental space in which my clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, experiences, and challenges. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therpay, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness to meet the unique needs of my clients.

I provide short and/or longer-term psychological therapy for:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress management
  • Life adjustment and transitions
  • Parenting challenges
  • Interpersonal and communication challenges
  • Performance coaching

I adopt a client-centered approach, acting as an equal partner with my clients as we work through therapy together. I am passionate about empowering each of my clients to grow a life full of vitality and meaning.

As a parent of two young children, I have a particular interest in the life-course transitions that occur throughout adulthood. My Honours thesis, published in the Journal of Culture and Psychology, explores the various ways in which men transition into fatherhood and the impact that this has on their relationships. I am also interested in performance psychology and have recently run workshops and high-performance programs for golfers.

Qualifications and Registrations:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Masters of Organisational Psychology, The University of Queensland
  • Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Queensland University of Technology
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary)

I am available to see clients on Thursdays and Fridays.
