Jessica Cleasby

Clinical Psychologist & Sexologist

Hi, I’m a warm, open, and non-judgemental therapist who values creating a therapeutic environment grounded in safety, respect, and collaboration. I offer a compassionate yet direct and practical approach, using evidence-based practice to build on your strengths and provide tools to help you move toward your goals.

I have experience working across both hospital and community settings and have presented at national and international conferences and workshops. My work draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy to develop tailored treatment plans that respond to each person’s unique needs.

I feel deeply privileged to be entrusted with my clients’ stories and experiences, and I aim to support meaningful, sustainable change.

I support clients with concerns such as:

  • Depression, low mood and emotional difficulties
  • Anxiety disorders inc. social anxiety, phobia, OCD, panic, etc
  • Trauma, PTSD and trauma related difficulties
  • Relationship concerns inc. communication and attachment difficulties
  • Sexual concerns inc. sexual function (painful sex, erectile difficulties, etc), desire differences, arousal issues, kink exploration, intimacy challenges
  • Gender and sexuality exploration
  • Identity concerns, self-esteem & self-worth challenges
  • Stress, burnout and life adjustments
  • Difficulties with regulating emotions and interpersonal challenges

My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, sex-positive, kink-affirming, and welcoming of non-monogamous and sex worker communities.
